Debbie and Samantha Price

 

Debbie was raised in Chicago. Her mom and sisters moved to California when she was in 8th grade. She was lucky enough to find a family in Bellflower, CA who paid for her lessons and show clothes to get her started showing Arabians in Western Pleasure and Equitation. Her mother purchased her first horse from Joe McAble.  Rick Nab came to the stable and she became a Rick’s kid.

Soon, Debbie was training on her own in Bellflower, and was married with 2 beautiful daughters, Ashley and Samantha. Ashley started showing in canter classes when she was 6 years old, because at that time, there were no Walk/Trot Classes. Over the years, the girls have done their family proud, they have won multiple National Championships.

Both of the girls, are now grown adults, Ashley shows in the Amateur division. Samantha decided to go Professional, after she was named US Res National Champ Reining  AOTR.

Between Ashley and Samantha, they have multiple National and Regional Championships in Showmanship, Hunter Pl, Western Pl, Country Pl, Show Hack, Native Costume, Equitation and Halter classes.

Debbie's philosophy - "When it comes to horses, I believe you never know everything and you should always seek help from others. When you think you know it all, you will be beaten by someone who is willing to work with others to improve themselves and their horses, and riders. I am lucky to have worked with Ray LaCroix, Rick Nab, Gordon & Wendy Potts and Samantha worked with Tonya Jenkins with her reiners.

As most of you know, Debbie is also a Producer for Cheval Insurance Services, Inc. This has been an easy transition and her knowledge of the horse business, makes her an incredible Agent.  It’s something Debbie knows really well, THE HORSE INDUSTRY.
